An important note on our sliding-scale pricing:

Sunflower Oven rests on the foundational principle that nutritious and delicious food is a human right.

With that as our soil, we seek to provide real food to as many people as possible who want it.

We offer all of our breads on a sliding-scale price system.

• If you are on the lower-end of the income spectrum (perhaps struggling to pay bills or working for minimum wage or not at all), we welcome you to pay this. This covers our ingredients, utilities, and overhead, and allows us to pay ourselves a decent wage.

• If you are middle-income, have stable employment and expendable income, this payment level gives us sustainability and security in our livelihoods.

• If you have the means to contribute more, paying the highest level allows us to offer these pricing options, to save for maintenance and crisis, and to bring more bread to more people.
